From the 19th to the 23rd of October 2024, Mundi Riso proudly took part in SIAL Paris 2024, the most significant international food industry fair, celebrating its 60th edition this year.

With more than 285,000 visitors from around the globe, the biennial Paris event provided an exciting opportunity to establish connections with numerous industry professionals, with whom we exchanged insights and reflections on the agricultural and food markets. It was also a major showcase, allowing us to highlight our quality production and Italian food culture.

At our booth, alongside the well-established New Kenji brand of 100% Italian sushi rice, our new brand “A Tavola” took center stage, offering Arborio and Carnaroli rice varieties, perfect for every step of risotto preparation.

To demonstrate this, our chef prepared a different traditional Italian recipe each day of the event, right on site. Starting with a Piedmontese risotto featuring toma cheese from Piode in Valsesia and Piemonte IGP hazelnuts, moving to a Valdostan risotto with fontina and micetta, to the classic Lombard saffron risotto, Lazio’s cacio e pepe risotto, and ending with risotto with sweet sausage from Cosenza and Calabrian nduja, we offered a true journey into the rich culinary heritage of Italy, always highlighting the essential ingredient: rice.
